Thesis  

In order to fulfill the requirements for this Ph.D. program, students must conduct a research project, write an original paper, and pass a public oral defense under the supervision of a teacher; The thesis must be original and highly professional, representing a rigorous research project consisting of a literature review, observation, investigation, and feedback; The research topic can be extracted from the contents of the courses and it must be approved by the supervisor before it can be carried out; The public oral defense is the final stage of the entire research project, passing this stage represents the completion of the doctoral programme. The research results should further enhance the relevant domains of Portuguese studies.
