個人簡介 Biography
Dr. Tao Yi had been doing research on new drugs in Wuhan general hospital for nearly a decade since 1996. He received his Ph.D. from the National Engineering Research Center for Nanomedicine, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, he was an associate professor at Southwest University (a key university under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Education of China, 211 Engineering University). From 2010 to 2014, he served as an assistant professor of State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine at Macau University of Science and Technology. Since August 2014, he has been a lecturer at Macao Polytechnic University.
He has obtained 2 new drug certificates and 3 provincial and ministerial scientific progress awards. As the first inventor, he has obtained 3 Chinese invention patents and 2 Australian innovation patents. He has published more than 40 papers. He edited and published 2 books. He as a PI has been awarded over 10 major research grants from agencies including Macao Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT), Research Fund of Macao Polytechnic University, Research Program of Hubei Province and Natural Science Fund of Chongqing.

  • New formulation research on Traditional Chinese Medicine, mainly on new oral dosage forms of poorly water-soluble soluble APIs in Chinese Medicine, such as nanocrystal suspensions, nanocrystal self-stabilized Pickering emulsions, solid self-microemulsifying drug delivery systems, self-microemulsifying oral instant films and self-emulsifying microspheres.
